Does printer ink expire? Do we really think of printer ink expiry dates?
It’s a promising deal if you can save a few dollars every time you buy printer cartridges online. And when you buy them in bundle packs, you tend to save more. However, you need to know how long the cartridges will last.
Do you know? Most of the manufacturers provide a built-in expiration date for the printer cartridges. It’s encoded in the chip and the printer will be able to read the dates. The printer will automatically reject cartridges that are beyond the expiry dates.
If you want to keep your printer healthy, you need to know if the ink and toner cartridges are in good condition. Whether it’s liquid ink cartridges or toner powder, you need to know the expiration date and follow proper storage techniques to extend the life of the cartridges. Proper storage of cartridges is also important to extend its shelf life.
